What I Provide

Many independent college counselors focus on volume—working with as many students as possible. I offer something different: highly personalized, student-centered guidance rooted in true counseling, not sales.

I provide a boutique experience with an à la carte menu of services (see the Contact Me page) and limit my full-time roster to just 12 students each year. This ensures top-priority access, including on-call support when needed. When space allows, I also assist additional students on a flexible, as-needed basis— though without the same level of availability unless under contract.

Billing Options
Most families work with me on an hourly basis. After a free consultation, a modest retainer secures ongoing availability. This approach lets families decide exactly how much support they want, when they want it.

For those who prefer a simpler arrangement, I also offer an all-inclusive package:

  • A flat fee (paid once or in two installments)

  • Covers up to 10 college applications, or a set number of colleges with 10 supplemental essays total (whichever comes first)

Hourly and package clients receive the same dedicated support; the difference is simply in billing. The package is ideal for families who want everything included under one predictable fee.

Services Include:

  • Guidance on course selection (Honors/AP)

  • College research & list building

  • Essay brainstorming & editing

  • Interview preparation & campus visit strategy

  • Résumé and activities development

  • Summer planning & extracurricular guidance

  • Application timeline management

  • Recommendation strategy & support

  • Waitlist (LOCI) and appeal letters

  • Financial aid appeal guidance

For 9th & 10th graders: early advising on academics, activities, and exploring potential majors.

You deserve to be seen as an individual in this college admission process.
