With three years of experience in Graduate Admissions at Boston University, I had the privilege of sitting at the admissions decision table, advocating for students just like you. My passion for helping applicants is so strong that I spent 15 years volunteering for my alma mater, Occidental College. I represented them at college fairs, interviewed prospective students, and worked closely with the Admissions team.

I currently review scholarship applications for the CollegeBound Foundation. With an M.Ed. from Boston University and a background in education, I stay up-to-date through membership in two professional associations, the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) and the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA).

In addition to reading applications, what am I doing when not coaching students?

  • Conducting research tailored to each client

  • Engaging in professional discussions with IECA and NACAC colleagues

  • strategizing and monitoring fluctuations in the industry

  • Visiting campuses and meeting with admission officers

  • Attending conferences

As a mom of three—a son and two daughters—I understand firsthand the challenges of finding a college that feels right for everyone. It’s easy to get fixated on a few schools, but there are hundreds of great options out there. Trust me, I’ve been through the process!
